This milk container is made of wood from palm tree leaves ,cowrie shells and cowskin. The leaves are collected, the stem boiled, dried and split into thin fiber with the help of a needle called muta. The strings are sewn together to make the container. It is used for storing either fresh or sour milk(ituttu) and keeping small items such as keys, needles, etc.
