This is a small gourd slightly differently shaped but of long variety. Some of this gourds have cowskin thonging decorated with beadwork or cowrice all with bead work or cowries all with cowskin bead decorated and lids.. It's much smaller than the usual Maasai ones. It is used for storage of milk from the cow. Can also be used for water or even honey.
