Miss Linter was born in Teignmouth. She moved to London and became an avid shell collector. She donated over 15,000 recent and fossilised shells to RAMM in 1909. This photograph was given to RAMM by Miss Florence Jewell. She was a fellow shell enthusiast and Miss Linter’s executer.
