The characters of the planets (Mercury, Earth, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn) are written in order but the picture is unidentifiable. Neptune is written at the bottom, confirming that it is a model of the solar system. Since Pluto is missing, it is thought to be made prior to the discovery of Pluto in 1930. The owner was a teacher from end of Meiji to Taisho Period at Tottori Shihan Elementary School and it is presumed that this teaching material was used in his/her science class.
