From the Zeng Hou Yi mausoleum, 13 suits of armor were discovered. This is a replica worn by a model of a warrior. The Ji that the warrior holds is consist of the original blades and a replica of the shaft.

The model wears a Zhou(helmet) of 18 Jia pieces. Jia is a piece leather covered in brown lacquer. The warrior’s upper part is covered in 23 Jia pieces, his arms in 52 pieces, bottom part in 56 pieces. The Jia used on his shoulders, elbows and trunk were made into different shapes and sewed with silk ribbon.
