Blazing a nomadic path into tomorrow
For centuries, the resilient people of Mongolia’s nomadic culture have led their grazing herds across the nation's vast steppes, erecting pop-up cities of round, domed tents (or ger). Now, you can experience the nomadic tradition, too. At the Mongolia Pavilion, you'll immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of this rugged land: sit in a colourful ger, listen to the unique sound of Mongolian throat singing, toss a round of shagai (a unique game played with the polished ankle bones of sheep), and learn how today’s nomads are incorporating Mongolia’s urban centres into their age-old seasonal routes.
You are all set!
