The Mongolian Military Museum is a cultural, academic, and research organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, researching, and promoting historical artifacts and documents. On January 21, 1966, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the National People's Republic of Mongolia issued decision No. 2 to establish a museum of the Military Academy, marking the inauguration of the "Military Museum." The museum houses over 9,900 collections, which are diversified and preserved in 13 different types of storage. With four permanent exhibition halls, temporary exhibition halls, and outdoor weapons and technical demonstrations, the museum provides cultural services and implements educational and cognitive programs. It also aims to promote the prosperous historical path of the Mongolian military to a vast audience of over 20,000 visitors annually.
