Mr Dob

Mr. Dob is a work by the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami (Tokyo, Japan, 1962), two sculptures in which he represents Mr. Dob, his most iconic character. Murakami, one of the best-known figures in the world of contemporary art, has been instrumental in shaping Japan’s modern art scene. Combining Japanese tradition with a Pop Art approach, he has achieved not only critical acclaim, but also enormous commercial success: his career spans more than thirty years, his signature characters are world-renowned, and his exhibitions break visitor records.
