This photo shows four men, two goats at the base of of Cape Moreton Lighthouse and two youths visible near the top of the lighthouse. On the photo it is described as a rocket drill.(please see the pdf associated with this record for more information, this pdf was kindly supplied by the Queensland Maritme Museum from their collection). The Cape Moreton Lighthouse was built from sandstone which was quarried on Moreton Island and is the oldest lighthouse in Queensland (1857).
