Munich: Propylaea

View from the east

The photograph shows Königsplatz still with the stone paving of the Nazi era as a parking lot in the middle of the car boom of the 1970s. It was not until around 1987/1988 that the stone slabs were removed, the car traffic was directed around the Propylaea and the green spaces were restored as they had been at the beginning of the 19th century.
