This is one type of home structure that Native Americans built. They would bend young trees into a U-shape, then attached the bent trees together and covering it with bark or animal skins. The entrance was designed with a very low roof, so you had to crouch to enter. After you were inside, you could stand in an upright position. It was a one room shelter, which allowed more frequent and free movement.
