The sheet gold necklace is composed of eighteen identical panels each in the form of a tiger’s claw fitted with a cap decorated with a kirtimukha ‘face of glory’ motif in relief and further surmounted with a cabochon ruby. The center panel features a flower set with a ruby in the center in lieu of the tiger’s claw. The end pieces also worked in relief are triangular in shape. All the panels are filled with lac.
