Nelson Mandela's returned notebooks

Nelson Mandela's personal notebooks, used for meticulously recording family correspondence and notes on Robben Island, were returned to Nelson Mandela by former detective in the security police Donald Card thirty years after confiscation by the security police. They were presented to Mandela, almost fifteen years after his release from prison in 2004.
