In fact, the recent vast legacy of "Expressionism" and " new German objectivity (grotesque deformations and the declared vulgarity of sign and images) merges with recoveries of the oldest tradition, medieval (religious and popular bohemian decorativism) and Renaissance (German woodcut, flourished and minutely descriptive).
