Nikki - Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Jane says: "Nikki had been redeployed to the Critical Care Unit for the Covid-19 outbreak. I was trying to capture the fact that under her mask she is still smiling despite everything. We made a lovely connection while I was working on the portrait, as it turns out that Nikki works in the hospital in the town where I grew up. I've been so happy to be able to paint amazing Nikki who says she feels privileged to do her job. She's definitely a real hero."
