Nationally Important Cultural Property
This is one of the six wooden standing statues of Zao Gongen. It was enshrined in addition to the central figure. Red or vermillion paint still remains on parts of the body. It is 130.7cm tall and it is made from one piece of hinoki wood. A scientific investigation estimates that this statue was made in Heian Period.
