Kojishi is a small-scaled Shishi-guchi. In one scene of “Shakkyo,” two Shishi appear: one wears a white-maned wig and the other a red-maned one. The white Shishi dances solemnly while the red one dances light-footedly. If the red-maned Shishi wears the Ko-jishi mask, it is emphasized that the pair are a parent and a child.
