Nonchalance

Naked woman, full body, lying on a padded sofa, covered with blue fabric with golden stripes, leaving only part of the backrest, leg and arm in a sinuous shape in golden carving. Head to the right over colored pillows, black hair, straight and long; eyes closed and dark eyebrows. Thin mouth and nose. Left arm slumped to the side, right arm back, covered by the trunk. Left leg flexed in V, upwards. Right leg on a white lace curtain, spread over the sofa and seen in detail on the left side. Author's signature and dedication in the upper right corner: "AParreiras / Nonchalance sketches" (in red ink) / "A Coelho Netto / proof of fraternal friendship / (signature) / 1915" (in black ink). Frame in plastered wood, gilded, with hollow ridges, decorated with conchoid elements and garlands at the angles and in the center of the sides and the upper and lower parts. On the back of the canvas, an oval stamp, interviewed under the reentry, with the inscription in black characters: "FABRIQUE DE COULEURS FIXES / MAISON............ / PAUL DENIS,...... / 18 , RUE DE MEDICIS, 18 - PARIS ".
