San Andrés Cholula, Puebla, Mexico

An indigenous woman with her arms folded in shades of red, green, blue, pink, yellow and earthy color, with a yellow ocher and dark brown background.
The tehuana costume comes from the region called Istmo de Tehuantepec in Oaxaca.
The first Nostalgia is also a tehuana but the woman is portrait in a ocher color palette and with a different posture.
Anguiano constantly portrays women from provincial areas of México wearing typical costumes of each región. The woman in this lithography wears a tehuana costume.
