Two hundred feet of suspended aluminum quills provide the kinetic wind element of this site-specific sculpture. The team of Douglas Hollis and Valentina Murch intended the undulating movement to evoke the movement of oil pumps from the local area's history of oil wells. Landscaping and the public seating area were also part of the artists' design.
