October Morning

"This quilt was inspired by antique English "frame" quilts that included a central panel or medallion of chintz, embroidery, or fancy work surrounded by rows of pieced work. The soft lilac background has a romantic misty feel to it and is the color of the sky in the morning during October. The pieced mountain blocks are deep autumn colors that were silhouetted against the lilac sky here in Wisconsin." -Diane Gaudynski
