Octopus Bag

A decorative bag of unique form is found among indigenous groups all across the northern half of North America. It is usually called an 'octopus bag' because of the eight tabs, in four pairs, which are pendant from it. Tlingit bags can be distinguished from other inland tribes by the character of the beaded designs.
