Mollusks such as cockles, oysters, and clams, as well as the 2 “kings” of Galician cuisine—octopus and mussels. The octopus is almost a symbol of Galicia. The best-known octopus recipe is known as “a feira,” which includes paprika, olive oil, boiled potatoes, and salt, cooked to perfection in a way that you will struggle to find outside of Galicia.
