Portrait of William I (1772-1843), king of the Netherlands. Standing, full-length, in general's gala uniform. Over the right shoulder the ribbon of the Grand Cross of the Military Order of William. Over the uniform a red royal cloak lined with ermine. To the right the throne, to the left a table with a map of a part of Java - Bantam, Jacatra and Cheribon - (Indonesia), a pillow with crown and scepter and a hat with ostrich feathers.
