I prefer “Opaque Oxide of Chromium” among a wide spectrum of green colors because it conveys a sense of density and thickness of the plants. Moreover, though I picked “Opaque Oxide of Chromium” in order to represent nature, the name of this color induced me to feel not natural but artificial and plasticated. This kind of irony attracted me, and I used the title for a couple of my paintings.
