The Ohi-family residence is a samurai house, which includes four tearooms that serve as one of
Kanazawa’ s specification preservation buildings. Also, located on the property is a garden that includes
a 500-year-old sacred tree called “Pine of Paper Cranes” (Orizuru), which is a designated tree in Kanazawa. On the same estate, situated behind the samurai residence sits the Ohi Museum, which introduces all its generations’ works and tea culture.
