Old Man's Head

As in the Roman tradition of portraiture, this study, depicting a face of man marked by time, does not embellish anything of the real fact, rising the details in themselves far from the canon of classical perfection, first of all wrinkles, to magnificence of history, as a monument of experience.
The position of the head, slightly turned with respect to the axis of the neck, emphasizes the penetrating observation look, in an attitude of attentive listening perfectly intelligible from the evening lips.
