The medal is a profile portrait of Olimpia whose torso takes part in an unicum with the golden frame ending with a papier-mache capstone. The figure has a classic updo ornated with a diadem characterized by laurel leaves. The work is paired with another one representing Olimpia and they have both been realized by a Piedmontese artist who makes reference to the works of Filippo Collino, made in Rome in 1756 and kept at the Royal Palace.
