THREE CAMERAS

Here we see nearly the entire party sitting on-board the chartered steamer Columbia. The photo was taken by Wilhelm von Geijer, who was married to Walther and Wilhelmina von Hallwyl’s daughter Irma. The party seem to have brought three cameras on the trip. The photographs were taken by Wilhelm von Geijer, Wilhelmina von Hallwyl and Ellen de Maré.

In this picture, we see one of the cameras on the table in the background. The camera is the large box with a handle on top.
