This masterpiece has been regarded as one of the most famous paintings of Mongolia. It tells the story of a man's life from birth to death, giving insight into nomads' philosophy. The way of milking a camel and the camel “coaxing ritual ”- the ceremony of coaxing a female camel into adopting the calf - is preserved to this day in most Gobi provinces.
