Operation Solomon

On 25 May, 1991, "Operation Solomon“, fourteen thousand Ethiopian Jews were flown to Israel in a 24-hour period.
Shamir gave the order to bring the Ethiopian Jews to Israel after the news of the difficult situation and the danger to their lives due to political instability in their country.
