Created on December 9, 1861 by Sultan Abdulaziz Khan (1830-1876) for the purpose of awarding for merits to Ottoman Empire. In the centre of medallion an inscription in Arabic on a red enameled above the golden half-moon: «Relying on the Assistance of Almighty God, Abdulaziz Khan, Sovereign of the Ottoman Empire». The order was cancelled in 1921
