“This quilt was a collaboration. I had become ill and needed to rest. One night while watching television, a quilt flashed through my head – a Log Cabin with vines; this would be just the project I needed to get back to my quiltmaking. When the quilt had been completed, we decided to name it after Donna’s favorite childhood book, The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. It seemed appropriate as the quilt had helped me to recover and Donna’s friendship is important to each of my days.”
