The Oval Salon of the home of the Baroness Pauline de Rothschild (nee Pauline Fairfax Potter) located on the rue Mechain in Paris. The stone-floored room is furnished with Louis XVI furniture, striped taffeta curtains that are tied in many places and domed glass doors leading into the garden. On the left wall, two Klee paintings are protected from the sun with green silk covers.
