Simatai Great Wall is located at the top of the mountains at the northern foot of Simatai Village, Gubeikou Town, Miyun County, Beijing, 120 kilometers away from Beijing. It starts from Wangjing Building in the east and ends at No.18 Building of Simatai Reservoir in the west, with a total length of 5.7 kilometers, including 35 beacon towers. It is a section with densely distributed beacon towers in the Great Wall and the best preserved section of the Ming Great Wall, and has been recognized as one of the world historical and cultural heritages by UNESCO.
