A Dutch translation of the Vivae imagines of 1566, including Vesalius' Epitome. The translation is by Martin Everaert.
This anatomical book heavily borrowed from other medical anatomy books, without permission.
Of the 42 copperplates used in this work 38 have been taken directly from Vesalius' Fabrica but they have been printed in reverse. For example, the aorta and the spleen are shown as being on the right hand side instead of the left.
