In theatre, as in life, comedy is a serious business. These dramatically challenged artisans take themselves very seriously. Their deconstructed tuxedos have been carefully decorated to make a suitable flashy impression on the royal audience.
With the addition of ruffs and red noses, Starveling, Bottom and Snout become Moon, Wall and the heroic Pyramus.
The production was directed by Sue Rider and designed by Christopher Smith.
