This well loved copy of 'The English-mans treasure : with the true anatomie of mans bodie' was donated to the University of Sydney's medical school. This edition was published 27 years after Vicary's death. The first edition was published in 1577 (17 years after Vicary died), St Bartholomew’s hospital published the work and attributed it to him.
The skeleton woodcut that appears in this copy were plagiarised from Geminus’ copper plates in 'Compendiosa totius anatomie delineatio', published in 1545, who in turn had plagiarized Vesalius’ De Humani Corporis Fabrica, published in 1543.
