The beauty of a book isn’t only a matter of content: the paper of its pages, the ink of its printed words, its binding and cover are essential features, too. Aware of it, Franco Maria Ricci made Gian Battista Bodoni's motto his own: "je ne veux que du magnifique" means, for example, choosing precious materials which can give unique and refined tactile and visual sensations. The texts of the “Signs of Man” series, for example, are printed on a special, light blue laid paper.
