Painted ex-voto - Our Lady of Carmo

Ex-voto to Our Lady of "Carmo", painted on wood, dated from 1851, a votive offering from a couple (Francisco Martins and Maria da Conceição) asking for the full recuperation of their sick daughter (Vicência de Jesus), as referred to in the inscription at the lower section of the painting: "Milagre q fes Nossa Sra. do Carmo a Fran.co Martins a Maria da / Conceçao. Que tendo huma filha Vicencia de Jejus em perigo de vida elles / se pegarão. com a Mai Samticima e ella foi servida darlhe perfeita saude 1851".
