This pair of Dharma-protecting lions is made of pottery clay. The lions' heads are slighted and are depicted with round, glaring eyes, wide-opened mouths with sharp fangs, and tall ears. They have thick, curly mane on the chest and head. The two lions are similar in shape and appear vivid in a semi-squat posture. Lions often appear on both sides of stele niche as images of protection.
