The Palace complex of Setsen Khan is situated at the heart of Chingis City in Khentii Province. The original palace, comprised of thirty monasteries and built with deep blue bricks, still has only five today. One of them is the monastery 'Altan Jin,' built in 1828 by Chinese laborers during the reign of Turgerelt, the 8th Manchu king. The Mongolian Government has officially recognized this site as a historical and cultural site under decision No. 13 of 2020, titled "List of Immovable Historical and Cultural Sites for State Protection."
