The Burovich de Szmajevich family came from Kotor. Giovanni Burovich received the feudal investiture with the title of count in 1703. His family inherited the Sesto al Reghena real estate properties, consisting of land, the Palazzotto along Via Roma and a rice husking. The building, formerly belonging to the Corners, has a facade partially frescoed with rural scenes and preserves a splendid example of an Italian garden in the internal courtyard.
