Who is Kimberella? An ancient jellyfish, a mollusk, perhaps a sponge? Its complex features make it different from most Ediacaran organisms. Kimberella has caused quite a stir in academia: incomplete fossils and ambiguous clues have misled paleontologists who have been fighting over it for generations, trying to interpret and classify the remains of this mysterious organism.
