In 1992, Juan Antonio Samaranch, the then-President of the International Olympic Committee, commissioned five more sculptures from Rosa Serra, for the winter sports. The 5 sculptures were presented to the President, at a ceremony held in the vestibule of the IOC in Lausanne.
