The trajectory proposed for the Galeria Adriana Varejão begins with the tile piece Panacea phantastica (2003-2007), which portrays 50 species of hallucinogenic plants from different parts of the world. Originally conceived as a multiple that could be adapted to any architectural design, here the tiles have been used in a bench at the pavilion entrance, a space for contemplation. On one of the tiles, a text refers to that relation between the hallucinogenic effects of plants and the changes in perception that art can bring about as well.
