In Africa, the warnings of environmental experts seem to be ignored. After watching the documentary, this panel (Nnimmo Bassey, Ayodele Morocco-Clarke, Florence Kayemba, Funto Boroffice) discussed how much the lack of development is contributing to the lackadaisical attitude to looming environmental catastrophes. From desertification, coastal erosion to oil and air pollution and our contribution to greenhouse gases, this panel explored what needs to be done now. The role that creatives can play in raising awareness of these issues was also addressed. It was moderated by Patrick Okigbo
