Panel of five flat painted tiles composing the twelfth station of a via crucis. The scene consists of four painted tiles in black ink for the drawing which are coloured in blue, yellow, ochre and green. The fifth tile has the number corresponding to the station and is painted in black on white.

Devotional pictures stand out among religious paintings, especially for outdoor use, given that the ceramic medium is a solution particularly suited to this end. These images turned cities into enormous holy urban spaces. An extremely important chapter in this religious theme was that of the Vía Crucis which were traditionally placed around cloisters, convent garden enclosures or vegetable plots and also on pre-established urban routes that started from the parish church and ended there after a walk through different streets. This Via Crucis, which is preserved at the museum, is from the 20th century and follows the most commonly found design of the 1700s.
