Juan Vázquez Molina (1500-1570), Charles V's and Philip II's Secretary, a member of the nobility of Úbeda, built in that city a palace that would become, after his death, the convent of Dominican nuns of God's Mother of the Chains, which he himself had founded. The rules would be approved by the bull of Pope Pius V. Vázquez Molina y Salazar family.
