Parish church dedicated to Saint Roch and John the Baptist in Brochów

Parish church dedicated to Saint Roch (currently to John the Baptist) in Borochów. In this church on 2 June 1806, Chopin's parents got married: Mikołaj Chopin and Tekla Justyna Krzyżanowska. On Easter on 23 April 1810, Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin got baptised there. It is very likely that Chopins knew the Lasoccy family, who were the owners of the goods in Borochów since 1660'. First of them was Olbracht Adrian Lasocki, who married Agnieszka Brochowska and held the conservation of the church that ended in 1665. Later on one of the members of the Lasoccy family called Michał became the founder of the Milanówek town.
